Crash Camp is a one day filmmaking sprint where participants produce a 1–3 minute short film. In 6 hours, we have time to produce with polish! With time to develop ideas, performances and production techniques, this immersive experience is great for those wanting to really get into the filmmaking experience.

happens
00:00 - Arrival & Introduction (20 min)
Welcome, meet the team, and overview of the day’s production.
00:20 - Script Read-Through & Role Assignments (30 min)
Cast and crew review the script, block scenes, and get familiar with their roles.
00:50 - Filming Part 1 (75 min)
Shoot the first half of the film, focusing on key scenes and performances.
02:05 - Break (20 min)
Rest, reset, and refuel before jumping back into production.
02:25 - Filming Part 2 (75 min)
Finish shooting, capturing the remaining scenes and any extra footage needed.
03:40 - Lunch Break (40 min)
A chance to relax before heading into post-production.
04:20 - Post-Production & Screening Prep (60 min)
Edit the footage, add sound, and polish the final film for viewing.
05:20 - Screening & Wrap-Up (40 min)
Watch the completed short film, celebrate the teamwork, and reflect on the experience.
06:00 - Workshop Concludes
